Job Description:
As a Mammographer / Radiologic Technologist at Client, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care by performing high-quality imaging procedures. You will work in a collaborative and supportive environment where your skills will be appreciated and your contributions will make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Review patient history and physician's orders to determine appropriate procedures.
Educate patients about the procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure their understanding and cooperation.
Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice when ordered.
Monitor patient conditions continuously and report/respond to any changes in status as needed.
Assist physicians in performing interventional procedures such as fine needle aspiration and needle localization.
Prepare equipment and supplies, ensuring compliance with safety standards and performing quality control procedures.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions, reporting issues as necessary.
Ensure compliance with the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) regulations and applicable accreditation.
Perform imaging procedures, including biopsies, stereotactic, and special procedures, as well as breast ultrasound scans and biopsies.
Analyze imaging results, identify quality issues, and take appropriate actions to resolve them.
Enter, transmit, and report scan results, while keeping up with BiRad standards and patient follow-ups.
Qualifications:

Minimum Education:

Graduate of an approved course in Radiologic Technology.
Minimum Work Experience:

One or more years of experience in Mammography preferred.
Required Skills:

Strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently.
Ability to perform effectively in a high-stress environment and take appropriate actions.
Required Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
Required Licenses:

Radiologic Technologist with active registration.
Must be ARRT Registered and Mammography Registry Eligible.
Active membership in the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Membership in national, regional, state, or local radiologic technology societies is desirable.
