Job Summary (List Format) Diagnostic Mammography / Radiology Technologist
- Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography procedures according to established protocols
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to patients of all age groups
- Collaborate with radiologists and imaging team to ensure accurate imaging and efficient workflow
- Ensure proper patient positioning, image quality, and adherence to ALARA radiation safety standards
- Review physician orders and coordinate imaging exams with other modalities
- Retrieve and track prior mammography images for comparison and interpretation
- Educate patients on breast health and self-examination techniques
- Serve as a technical resource for breast imaging, quality control, and equipment operation
- Advocate for patients by coordinating care and minimizing inconvenience or delays
- Participate in departmental committees and assist with outreach and promotion of mammography services
- Support additional imaging procedures, including Bone Density, CT, General X-Ray, and Fluoroscopy/OR procedures as needed
- Take call as assigned and perform other duties as required
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards
- Contribute to a collaborative and community-focused healthcare environment
