Position Purpose: Manage existing client networks, including desktops, servers, network equipment, phone systems, and software. Assess and implement solutions aligned with industry standards, providing recommendations for improvements and gap remediation to internal Account Managers (vCIO). Relationships: Report to the Operations Manager; collaborate with a team of IT professionals and Account Managers (vCIO). Responsibilities: Plan, design, document, and implement systems, including desktops, servers, network infrastructure, and security solutions. Provide on-site and remote technical support. Organize and inventory hardware and software resources. Maintain communication with management, Account Managers, and clients regarding tasks and projects. Create and update technical documentation. Participate in after-hours on-call support on a rotating schedule. Conduct service audits, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements to reduce end-user disruptions. Assist in IT project management, research, scope documentation, and maintaining service levels. Provide end-user training and develop SOPs to enhance productivity. Perform other duties as assigned. Applicants must meet at least 6 of the following priorities: Desktop Support Experience: support for operating systems and end-user applications. Server Support Experience: installing and troubleshooting servers and applications. Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2012r2, 2016, 2019): Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Services, IIS, NLB. Exchange Server and MS365 experience: mail flow troubleshooting, migrations. Virtualization: Hyper-V and VMWare support, HA/DRS configuration. SQL Server: database maintenance, backups, restores, replication, clustering. Firewall Technologies: installing and supporting Watchguard devices. Network Switching: configuring managed switches, VLANs, routing. Education: 4-year college degree in an IT-related field. Certifications: MCSA/MCITP or higher, Cybersecurity, or industry-specific certifications. Skills & Abilities: Self-motivated with minimal guidance, able to create task lists, and report progress. Strong organizational skills, work ethic, team player, problem-solving skills. Committed to professional development and maintaining certifications.
