As the Account Executive for Managed Services, you will play a pivotal role in driving recurring revenue growth, and business development, for the company. You will work closely with Sales and Service management to create and execute a Managed Services strategy that aligns with the company’s aggressive growth goals, ensuring our market position strengthens as we scale. We are looking for an individual that is self-motivated, with a hunter mentality.
Position Accountabilities and Expectations:
Sales Development and Account Management
- Prospect, generate, and track leads using ConnectWise PSA.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with accurate opportunity tracking.
- Conduct needs assessments and position IMS service offerings as tailored solutions.
- Understanding client’s network and tolerance for monitoring agents.
- Develop proposals and quotes directly through ConnectWise PSA.
- Achieve sales targets for new recurring revenue and project services.
- Transition close deals smoothly to service delivery teams via ConnectWise PSA workflows.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to identify new opportunities.
- Use ConnectWise PSA to log activities, manage follow-ups, and track client engagement.
Process & Reporting
- Enter and update all sales data in ConnectWise PSA with accuracy.
- Generate regular sales forecasts and reports from the ConnectWise PSA system.
- Collaborate with leadership to refine sales strategies based on pipeline analytics.
- Participate in regular pipeline reviews and account planning sessions.
Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing to nurture leads through campaigns tracked in ConnectWise.
- Partner with internal consultants to scope services and ensure solution fit.
- Provide feedback to operations teams on client requirements and competitive trends

What will you bring?
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in Managed Services, (AV or IT) or related B2B recurring technology revenue models.
- Strong understanding of Managed Service business models and service-based sales.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, device monitoring, and support services preferred.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, particularly with Senior level executives.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding services sales quotas in a hunter role.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to close complex, consultative deals.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field preferred, but not required.
- Organized and detail-oriented, capable of using ConnectWise PSA workflows effectively.
- Goal-driven and able to meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets.
