Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Management Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in management accounting, financial analysis, and strategic planning. As a Senior Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely management reports, including financial statements, variance analysis, and key performance indicators.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process and financial forecasting, working closely with various departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • Cost Analysis: Analyze cost structures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support cost management initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Internal Controls: Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and compliance with company policies and regulations.

  • Financial Planning: Provide strategic financial advice and support for business planning, including scenario analysis, profitability analysis, and long-term financial planning.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with senior management and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations that drive business decisions.

  • Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. Assist with internal and external audits as required.

  • Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in management accounting or a similar role, with a proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.

  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in accounting software and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks). Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.

  • Personal Attributes: High level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
