Posted Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 5:00 AM Effective Date: 1/22/2026 New Job Current Job Revisions To be completed by HR: EEO-1: 1.2 - First/Mid Level Officials and Managers Job Family: Manager/Supervisor FLSA Status: Exempt Manager, Distribution Scope and Purpose of Position: The Manager, Distribution oversees shipping operations and associates, ensuring accurate, timely order fulfillment, inbound inspection, returns processing, and transportation coordination while maintaining daily workflow, supplies, and department standards. This role ensures compliance with quality systems, regulatory and privacy requirements, audits shipping costs, supports staff development, and partners cross-functionally to drive operational improvements. Essential Functions: Manage shipping associates in all aspects of the department workflow, assuring completion of all responsibilities Support the processing and expediting of orders as required by staffing shortages or volume Arrange for the shipment of all orders processed by managed care ensuring no orders are excluded Complete departmental paperwork and reports on a timely basis, distributing as necessary Oversee inspection of incoming merchandise for proper quantities, damages, shelf life, etc. Coordinate weekly returns and shipments back to manufacturers for repair and replacement Return calls to providers seeking transport information as appropriate Audit transportation bills for appropriateness of charges and route, as well as various packing slips to the Accounts Payable Department for processing and reporting of discrepancies Operate and monitor computer systems for shipping and tracking jobs Complete a daily walk through of the department to ensure completion of responsibilities and cleanliness Maintain departmental supply levels and ordering as needed Provide ongoing support to all departmental associates, including hiring, firing, payroll reporting, self‑evaluations, scheduling, education and training, adherence to safety regulations, etc. Collaborate with other Department Supports to complete broader improvement projects or requests In conjunction with the Corporate Management Representative, ensure all necessary ISO processes are adhered to and that all required Quality Management System (QMS) documentation is completed in a timely manner Practice and comply with all requirements of our Quality Management System (QMS), as well as regulations promoting a safe and healthy workplace Adhere to privacy, confidentiality, and proprietary company policies and procedures (i.e. HIPAA, etc.); Abide by all federal, state, and local regulations, company policies and procedures, and instructions Participate in any training and educational activities necessary to fulfill at least the minimum requirements as specified within your departmental goals. This is in addition to, the completion of any activities necessary for the maintenance of professional affiliations or organizational requirements. Diligently maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, workstations and the overall facility on a daily basis Perform additional responsibilities as assigned Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Notes: College degree preferred. Experience 3 Years Required Notes: 3-5 years of previous experience in the support of a shipping/receiving department required.
