The employee will work three days a week at a Prudential location in Newark, NJ, Dresher, PA, or Shelton, CT. Employee will be required to attend or go into the office for any mandatory onsite/offsite meetings/trainings. Employee work arrangement is the businesses decision and can be adjusted or changed for business reasons at any time.What You Can Expect:Lead the coaching, development and training of a team of 10+ internal sales professionalsBuild, promote and sustain an engaging, diverse and inclusive workplace culture within your team and across internal sales that inspires productivity and excellenceCreate and implement internal sales strategies, initiatives and projects in collaboration with external divisional sales managers and the internal sales senior leadership teamRepresent sales & distribution on various project committees and Prudential programsAnticipate, plan and maintain appropriate staff levels to meet the sales need of the companyPartner with the individual solutions group training team on the development, design and planning of training programs in order to meet the needs of the internal sales organizationImplement best-practice sales techniques and leverage the performance management process to continuously enhance the quality, productivity and efficiency of the sales teamResponsible for managing and leading the sales team through organizational changePrepare compelling presentations for relevant stakeholders and customers as neededGain experience working with a wide range of business areas within the Prudential organization collaborating with intelligent, like-minded people who are experts in their fieldsWhat You'll Need:Demonstrated experience managing a team of employees with a track record of success in talent development and coaching including attracting new employees as well as retaining high-performing team membersMinimum of three plus years of sales experience with a proven track record of successPassion for talent development and coachingProven understanding of consultative sales approach and a broad knowledge of the financial services industryBe a change agent by employing strategic, forward-looking thought leadership that results in constant process improvement and creative, innovative solutions to problemsKnack for motivating individuals while driving toward common team goalsAbility to integrate sales and other Prudential business units to build high-performing, cross-functional teamsFINRA Series 6 or 7 and 63 or 66 requiredFINRA Series 24/26 and state life and health license required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hireAdvanced education (MBA, CFP, etc) a plusPrudential welcomes all applicants, even if you don't meet every requirement.
