The Network Brand Communications team is seeking a Social Media Manager with strong experience in social media management, content strategy development, and social analytics. This individual will drive the go-to-market approach for Discover Network organic social media channels, oversee social platform and compliance governance, manage social content development, and advocacy management. What you’ll do Manage key organic social channels: Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Reddit, Pinterest, and new platform exploration. Lead holistic channel strategy and content development approach that aligns to Network business objectives. Manage quarterly platform access activities and ensure enterprise access governance practices are being adhered to. Ability to access, learn, and navigate relevant platforms: Sprout, Sprinklr, Uberflip, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and JIRA. Support Standards, Job Aids/Processes and Controls updates to align with PSP Social Standard. Represent and contribute in COF Advocacy program as main point of contact for the Network. Partner with creative teams and agencies on implementation of new messaging and ad types. Grow and nurture community management on owned social platforms by ensuring applicable comments, engagements, and direct messages are responded to within the agreed upon SLA. Serve as the primary lead for recurring social reporting needs. Partner with legal and compliance to obtain approvals for the routing of ad copy and audience targeting. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience. At least 6 years leading digital marketing strategy and programs. At least 6 years of multi‑channel digital marketing experience on the client-side or agency. Preferred Qualifications MBA preferred with marketing relevant coursework (esp. Market Research, Marketing, Sociology, Psychology, Behavioral Economics). 7+ years of Social Media marketing experience. 5+ years of experience in multi‑channel campaign development, including research, planning and execution. 2+ years of experience leveraging social analytics to drive creative strategy and optimize campaign performance. Experience with platform‑specific audience dynamics, ensuring creative content is native to each channel and engineered for high‑value engagement. Experience working within the Payments industry or B2B financial services industry. Chicago, IL: $138,100–$157,700 for Manager, Marketing McLean, VA: $151,900–$173,400 for Manager, Marketing Riverwoods, IL: $138,100–$157,700 for Manager, Marketing Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance‑based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long‑term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non‑discretionary depending on the plan.
