Manager - Global Business Services Apply
Manager - Global Business Services (GBS)As the Manager - Global Business Services (GBS), you will collaborate with business units and functions across the enterprise to facilitate improvements in the design, management, execution of end-to-end processes and controls in support of Wesco's digital and data transformation. You will monitor risk, timeliness and quality of workstreams, in addition to being part of the core team responsible for resolution of issues by partnering with various internal and external teams. You will also manage the day-to-day activities of programs and processes for the GBS function.Responsibilities:Regular engagement with business process providers (BPOs)Engage all stakeholders for governances (internal, external)Regular engagement with Project Managers and stakeholders to keep track of all transition implementations, and anticipate and address current concernsFunction as the first escalation point for all service-related issues and failures help to address critical issues, conduct Root Cause Analyses, and establish focused corrective action plansHold all parties mutually accountable for their deliverablesPerform issue resolution with internal and external entitiesIdentify and segment key stakeholders to address their needs specificallyProvide regular updates to Steering CommitteeManage program-level budget, provide support in the development of cost estimates and forecasts and keep them up to dateEnsure compliance with internal controls, works with internal and external auditors where necessaryQualifications:Bachelors Degree - Accounting, Finance, Business, IT or related discipline required, Masters Degree preferred6 years of progressive experience working in shared services and/or GBS environment or relevant finance or professional role2 years of supervisory or leadership experiencePrior experience anticipating financial and operational issuesExperience working with outsourced providers (BPOs) a plusProven strategic planning experience at management levelAdvanced in Microsoft ExcelDemonstrated creative and critical thinking skillsAbility to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders in functions and teams across the businessUnderstanding and experience with core financial processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit, management reporting, etc.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross functional teamsAble to work on multiple projects/streams simultaneouslyStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to travel 0% - 25%Compensation Details: $119,327 - $161,092 AnnuallyIn addition, Wesco offers a benefits program for eligible employees, which may include paid time off, medical, dental, and vision coverage, and retirement savings plans.
