This position is responsible for managing the full spectrum of training and development functions to ensure associates are equipped with the competencies required to perform effectively and deliver exceptional guest experiences.The role supports business objectives by designing and implementing impactful learning programs aligned with the company’s vision, mission, and Service Profit Chain philosophy, while fostering a high-performing, motivated, and service-oriented workforce.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage all training and development processes for hotel associates.Design, develop, implement, coordinate, and administer learning initiatives across departments.Prepare, communicate, and execute the hotel’s annual training plan.Ensure departmental training plans are consistently implemented and monitored.Conduct orientation and training programs for associates at all levels.Promote and instill the Banyan Group experience, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision, mission, and service standards.Ensure all departments maintain up-to-date associate orientation manuals.Monitor and control the annual training budget.Develop and maintain a strong pool of qualified departmental trainers.Support performance improvement initiatives and uphold standards of excellence in a 5-star hospitality environment.Qualifications:Degree in a relevant discipline, plus technical certification/diploma or higher qualification.3–7 years of relevant experience in Learning & Development; hospitality experience preferred (Singapore experience is an advantage).Professional training skills and solid understanding of 5-star hospitality standards and working principles.Excellent command of English (written and verbal).Strong facilitation skills for both small and large groups.Good leadership, organizational, and administrative capabilities.Ability to document performance standards and manage multiple priorities effectively.Dynamic, innovative, enthusiastic, and self-motivated personality.Strong interpersonal skills; approachable and pleasant disposition.Objective, team-oriented, and highly customer- and results-focused.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.Computer literate with strong project management capabilities.Professional appearance and good health.Working Conditions:Full-time position, based at Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree, Singapore, a property under Banyan Group.Flexible working hours, as required to accommodate business needs.We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Thank you!
