As a Manager in Training at Sunstate Equipment, your primary objective is to assist, learn, and develop the required skills needed to be a successful Branch Manager. This position with spend time performing the tasks of various positions within the branch, becoming familiar with company culture and practices, managing personnel, and operational processes and guidelines. When proficient in all aspects of branch operations, the Manager in Training will assume some daily management responsibilities which can include traveling to another branch and acting as Branch Manager.
**Must be willing to relocate to any Sunstate Branch location at the end of the program.**
Program length is dependent on prior experience/skill set, etc. Approximately two years.
Requirements
Position Requirements:
- Previous experience with construction equipment is preferred
- Must be willing to relocate upon completion of Manager in Training program
- Proficient computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite and AS400
- Be able to remain organized in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Experience in customer-facing roles and/or professional environments.
- Proficiency in maintaining a consistently professional demeanor.
- Leadership experience, whether within peer groups, familial settings, or other contexts.
- Demonstrated capacity to sustain roles and responsibilities over a significant duration.
- Proven ability to overcome challenges and obstacles effectively.
- Aptitude for articulating the strategies and actions employed to accomplish self-set goals.

- Demonstrated aptitude in problem-solving at a high level.
- Capacity to prioritize tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Proficient in utilizing computer and technology resources.
- Mechanical aptitude is advantageous but not mandatory.
