General Summary:
As a member of HCAs Engagement Team, the Manager, Brand Communications is responsible for supporting strategies for employer branding and growing a favorable public image by communicating programs, accomplishments and/or points of view of Hyundai Capital America. As part of this role, you will work across the marketing, treasury, sales, and leadership team to tell new narratives on existing communication channels while also having a vision for new areas of communication channels. This role must have a solid understanding of employer branding, public relations, social media platforms, and bring a distinct editorial sensibility that helps tell the right stories to our audiences.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Manage the companys digital presence across multiple platforms (including website, various social media and recruiting platforms, event presence, etc.) and handle day-to-day operations to support HCAs workforce branding. Provide ongoing digital strategy and execution of employer and culture initiatives. Collaborate closely with Internal Communications to create a cohesive and comprehensive brand for both internal and external stakeholders.

2. Lead weekly public relations needs of the company by acting as the point of contact for external audiences and press inquiries. This includes coordinating with internal communications to draft proactive new stories and cooperating with appropriate internal stakeholders (such as Legal, Investor Relations, etc.) when issuing external responses. Provide ongoing public relations strategy support and content to Global Business Division. Facilitate all engagement activities and meet with participants monthly to provide ongoing direction and ensure deliverables are received for appropriate channel sharing.

3. Support internal stakeholders with branding initiatives for corporate programs including select corporate events, recruiting, benefits, philanthropy, corporate social responsibility, etc.

4. Contribute to strategy and execution of projects to support the Engagement Team and HRs overall initiatives (event support, swag inventory, Connect Clubs program, etc).

5. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


Knowledge and Skills:


  • 6+ years of previous experience in a corporate environment and experience with employer branding, public relations, external communications, and social media
  • Bachelors degree required, preferably in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications.
  • Ability to learn and retain new concepts and technology quickly
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Strong people skills, including the ability to build relationships with internal clients and external vendors
  • Ability to follow through on all assignments independently with the ability to complete tasks and projects on deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Able to work amicably in a team environment
  • Demonstrated experience and strong ability with Microsoft Office products, including Power Point, Excel, etc

Physical Requirements and Working Condition:

Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.
