About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and service-driven Manager to join our Closter team. This individual will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring an outstanding customer experience, leading by example on the floor, and supporting the team across all departments. A strong background in wine, beer, or THC beverages is highly preferred, as this role also involves educating customers and staff, supporting events, and enhancing our overall beverage culture.

  • Manage and support the beer and THC categories, including product selection, buying, vendor relations, inventory coordination, and merchandising.
  • Ensure the store remains properly stocked and is well merchandised with endcaps and product displays.
  • Oversee the reordering team to ensure that the appropriate stock levels of all product categories and materials are brought into the store at the proper times.
  • Synthesize and communicate store issues and needs to Senior Management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of retail managerial experience.

  • Ability to create, implement, and execute store procedures as needed.
  • A strong managerial presence with the ability to lead a team through positive reinforcement.
  • Ability to provide constructive criticism to team members in a way that motivates and inspires.
  • Comfort and experience using technology, including point-of-sale software, e-commerce fulfillment software, customer support ticketing software, employee scheduling software, and delivery routing software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong customer service skills and a passion for delighting store guests.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
  • A flexible schedule that includes working some evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.
