Ensures compliance with data submission deadlines set by State and Federal agencies. Oversees the quality and integrity of data and regulatory submissions. Responds to inquiries from State and Federal agencies regarding donation and allocation systems. Develops and analyzes statistical measures of activity, quality, and regulatory compliance. Implements an organizational Quality Management Plan, including systems for process improvement, document control, complaint management, error/accident reporting, and corrective and preventative actions. Leads ongoing performance improvement initiatives to enhance organizational quality and processes. Communicates statutory changes in regulatory policies to leadership and validates their implementation. Oversees successful completion of regulatory agency audits to ensure compliance. Conducts regular Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) meetings. Consults on the development and improvement of policies and procedures for data collection and regulatory compliance. Manages staff to maintain strict quality standards for organ and tissue donor chart completion. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Detail oriented [Required] • Knowledge and ability to understand OurLegacy’s departmental goals [Required] • Ability to analyze departmental problems and solve them through the use of technology, development of quality systems and/or performance improvement initiatives [Required] • Ability to supervise the activities of staff to meet deadlines and resolve problems [Required] • Strong time management skills; ability to meet required deadlines under pressure [Required] • Strong data analysis and data interpretation skills; ability to analyze data and ensure data integrity [Required] • Strong communication and interpersonal skills [Required] • Ability to establish priorities and function independently as well as with teams [Required] • Understanding of PDSA (Plan, Do, Study, Act) procedure and methodology [Preferred] • Knowledge of the OPO and Tissue Bank Procedures [Preferred] • Knowledge of OPO regulatory agencies [Preferred] Education: • Bachelor's [Required] • Master's [Preferred] Field of Study: • in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Quality Systems, Statistics, or related field. • in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or Quality Systems.
