Job Description This Manager will lead a team of developer advocates responsible for shaping how millions of developers learn, build, and engage with AWS. The role owns the strategy for content, events, and community engagement and acts as the connective tissue between developer needs and our service teams. The manager will collaborate across marketing, product, and engineering to ensure the developer voice informs our roadmap and that products meet the needs of those building on AWS daily. Key Responsibilities Lead and inspire the developer advocacy team, setting vision and strategy for community engagement. Build and foster relationships with developers, understanding their needs and translating insights to service teams. Collaborate closely with product, engineering, marketing, and solutions architects to shape the role of developer relations in driving adoption of AWS services. Gather product feedback and insights from the developer community and advocate for continuous improvement within the organization. Ensure that the developer experience is impactful and relevant through relevant content, events, and engagement. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of software development experience. 3+ years of team leadership experience. Experience building developer‑facing content or programs. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of team leadership and development experience. Proven ability to manage a team of individual contributors. Track record of building and scaling developer community programs. Experience working cross‑functionally with product and engineering teams to influence roadmaps based on developer feedback.
