Our business also includes a diversified suite of Jones Act compliant marine transportation equipment used to transport crude oil and intermediate refined products along the Gulf and East Coast, and major river systems, the production and marketing of other specialty chemicals with no known substitutes and an increasingly integrated portfolio of onshore crude oil pipelines and terminals along the Gulf Coast. Key Duties: Supervises driver dispatch to ensure the needs of our customers are met on time, courteously and safely; Visits with and supervise drivers at shift changes and at various stations in the field; Attends and supports safety meetings; Instills a proactive safety philosophy among drivers and others in the department; Works with marketing department personnel to ensure that high-quality, safe and timely trucking transportation service is extended to our customers; Supervises District Clerk to assure all invoices are coded, driver tickets are coded and input & other administrative duties are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Required Skills, Experience, and Education: High school diploma or GED; Minimum of 5 years’ trucking experience; Minimum of 5 years’ supervisory experience; Must be familiar with DOT regulations & requirements as they relate to trucking operations; Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; Must be a self-starter and able to lead a team of field personnel to assure high-quality service to producers and operators; Must possess a valid driver’s license with good driving record.
