POSITION OVERVIEW

We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented FP&A Manager to join our dynamic finance team. This role will play a crucial part in Kate Farm's continued growth by providing key financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.  

The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for driving results in a fast-paced environment.  

Kate Farms is fully hybrid, but a preference for candidates to live in Santa Barbara County where the headquarters is located will be prioritized. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

·        Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including developing financial models, coordinating with various departments, and presenting findings to senior management. 

·        Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance and identify trends. 

·        Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations on pricing, product development, and other strategic initiatives. 

·        Work with the accounting team to prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis and commentary. 

·        Develop and maintain financial models to support long-range planning and scenario analysis. 

·        Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial support and guidance. 

·        Conduct periodic business reviews with leadership to ensure strategic and budget success. 

·        Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH 

·        A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. 

·        5- 7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a high-growth consumer, medical, or technology company. 

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data. 

·        Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Business Central) and planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive) is a plus. 

·        Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to various audiences. 

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

·        Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and learn new concepts rapidly. 

·        Invites and uses the opinions and perspectives of others.

·        Strong commitment to company mission and values.

·        Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary plus a variable component that together comprise the On-Target-Earnings (OTE). Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of equity.

The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. This range represents the lowest to highest salary range we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including your geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.  All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of background verification.

$95,000 - $117,500 USD

For full-time salaried or hourly workers, our total rewards package also include the option to enroll in a company-matched 401k plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents.  Employees will also receive a generous  PTO benefit with a starting accrual of 15 days per year (prorated upon hire and increased by tenure),  two weeks of paid “Refresh” leave, 80 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 11 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.  Kate Farms offers a range of other benefits offered with an emphasis on employee well-being such as paid disability leave, paid parental / pregnancy leave, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), tuition reimbursement, an Employee Assistance Program, and more.
