The successful candidate for this position will be an integral member of the US Commercial team providing business analytics, trend analysis & strategic recommendations as a member of the Generics Business Unit. The position reports to the VP, Head of Generics Business Unit and will support them as well as the commercial field sales force, with the goal of optimizing performance across the portfolio.

Responsibility

  • Responding to inquiries from National Account Directors/Managers on the following pricing topics:
  • Potential pricing challenges
  • Product Adds
  • One Time Buys
  • Request for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Monthly Customer Bids
  • Certifying customer pricing compliance (both quarterly & annually)
  • Working alongside the VP, Head of Generics Business Unit on potential product launches which include demand forecasting, pricing strategy upon entry into market (WAC & contract), and customer strategy to maximize value
  • Perform pricing analytics in conjunction with National Account Directors/Managers, with particular focus on gross margin analysis
  • Utilizing competitive intelligence to capitalize on market opportunities
  • Maintaining internal net pricing customer file of key customers (NDC level specific)
  • Supporting National Account Managers with ad hoc requests for customer meetings
  • Cross functional interaction with the following divisions:
  • Finance: Working in conjunction on financial forecasting as it pertains to volume & revenue projections
  • Supply Chain: Partner with the supply chain team to communicate forecast changes to demand on both a monthly as well as ad hoc basis as well as evaluate potential new business opportunities to ensure adequate supply and lead time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance or other business discipline is required
  • 5+ years of Finance/pricing/analytics experience required
  • Prior pharmaceutical industry experience is strongly preferred
  • Ability to use advanced Excel spreadsheet functions and formulas to build and maintain pricing and forecast models
  • Strong communication and analytical skills are essential
  • Strong management skills and possess the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management throughout the organization
  • Strong Excel & Powerpoint skills preferred
  • Ability to interact with all levels of personnel, including senior management
  • Self-starter with ability to take leadership in a fast-paced, unstructured environment

As required by law,Bausch Health provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in the US. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For this role, the range of starting pay for this role is$110k - $130k.
