Overview DSV - Global transport and logistics is hiring a Human Resources/People and Organization Manager. This role is located in New Berlin, Wisconsin and is designed to provide HR leadership and guidance by partnering with business leaders at sites or functions. The position supports the successful implementation of strategic HR initiatives in Talent Management, Performance Management, Leadership Development, Employee Engagement, Change Management, and Compensation and Benefits. It includes recruitment for mid to lower level Professional and Managerial positions as well as Administrative/Clerical and Maintenance/Warehouse roles, along with related HR duties such as retention strategies, legal compliance, payroll, communication, orientation and training, and some administrative functions. In some locations, additional duties outside the Human Resource role may be required. Location New Berlin, Wisconsin Position Details Job area: Managerial Division: Contract Logistics Job Posting Title: Human Resources/People and Organization Manager Time Type: Exempt Responsibilities Partner with business leaders to guide and support initiatives and align them with the HR strategy. Act as a change agent, developing transition plans, leading communication and engagement activities, and ensuring managers handle people matters effectively. Establish robust recruitment processes to attract and retain talent. Administer employee and labor relations programs, including employment, relations, compensation administration, benefits, performance management, training, and staffing planning. Facilitate and provide training and development for management and the workforce. Coach and advise managers and employees to resolve issues and provide day-to-day support. Maintain and coordinate employee recognition programs and ensure programs are aligned with policies and procedures. Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to support continuous improvement. Provide Employee Relations expertise and shape the local ER strategy, ensuring policy compliance and manager readiness to handle employee matters. Promote diversity initiatives and support timely and effective communication and administration of HR deliverables. Utilize internal and external data to generate reports for business cases and regulatory requirements. Travel as required. Other Duties Work overtime as dictated by business needs (mandatory or voluntary). Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities Full personnel responsibility to lead, develop, and coach a team of up to 6 employees. Skills & Abilities Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or Social Sciences and a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures during warmer and colder months. Computer Skills Microsoft Office Experience with HRIS systems Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Recognized HR Professional Certification preferred Language Skills Local language required; effective verbal and written communication in English (reading, writing, verbal) Mathematical Skills Good mathematical skills Other Previous payroll processing and timekeeping experience preferred Master’s degree preferred Core Competencies Leader of Others Physical Demands Occasionally: Handling/Fingering, Sitting Frequently: Bending Constantly: Walking and Standing; ability to lift/carry and push/pull 21-50 pounds; reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel Work Environment Exposures to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals are rare; noise level usually low to moderate. Benefits and Pay For this position, the expected base pay range is $108,000 – $118,000 annually. Compensation will be based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
