Manager Project Coordination Apply
A Manager, Project Coordination is responsible for handling an array of internal and external customer support responsibilities. Some of these tasks include interacting with customers over the phone, via email and via Team’s meetings. Throughout these interactions, the Manager, Project Coordination must maintain a high level of professionalism and present the organization in the best light possible. The Manager, Project Coordination has Project Coordinator direct reports and is responsible to mentor and guide them in their daily activities.
Our growing PMO team is looking for a skilled problem solver to join our team as a Manager, Project Coordination. We need an enthusiastic individual who can listen to customer service issues and then offer a unique and innovative solution to each problem. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong command of the company's policies and be well-trained in product knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to customers. The Manager, Project Coordination will have Project Coordinator direct reports.
1. Provides Project Management and Sales support for processing customer orders, creating PO’s to vendors, invoicing customers, and overall Project Coordination with a high degree of accuracy.
2. Manages a team of Project Coordinators who manage small customer projects to include ordering materials, issuing PO’s, coordinating and providing daily updates to customers on progress. Utilize Project Management tools such as project schedules, issue logs, contacts lists and meeting notes templates. The Manager, Project Coordination also manages projects directly.
3. Lead project status meetings with customers and Sales. Capture action items and follow through to completion.
4. Creates PO’s, Change Orders, Spare Parts Quotes, etc. in support of Project Managers and Sales.
5. Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with sales, customers, and vendors and works to establish a positive rapport with every caller.
6. Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes in company policies.
7. Manage and develop Project Coordinators. In this role you will have Project Coordinator direct reports.
Requirements
· Associate degree/bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or business-related field preferred.
· Project Management experience with strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
· Previous experience managing a team and had direct reports as part of your responsibility.
· Team development and management experience.
· Process improvement SOP development experience.
· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, etc.)
· Smartsheet, Sage Intacct, Salesforce, SharePoint experience desirable.
· Experience with budget forecasting/maintenance.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Position is based in Belton, MO.
- Hybrid position. Some travel (up to 25%) required as necessary.
