Summary The Manager, at TPL Sales and Operations is a dynamic role responsible for supporting: 1) the development of marketing strategies and subsequent execution of programs and tactics to attract prospective customers, 2) the creation of innovative sales tools and materials that can be consistently deployed across the U.S Region to assist in client growth and retainment. Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Material Development Identify, develop, or evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors Compile lists describing product or service offerings, and current capabilities in each logistics mode (e.g., ocean, air, rail, freight) Formulate, direct, or coordinate marketing activities or policies to promote GLOVIS brand, products or services to make the organization more alluring Develop direct and indirect marketing tools and material Execute planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs Identify appropriate social media channels for specific business needs, and tailor campaigns to the target audience Collect and analyze data related to social media marketing campaigns Lead Glovis' social media development and provide guidance on optimizing profiles (e.g. GLOVIS website, LinkedIn, etc.) Track performance of various social media initiatives and develop/implement changes to improve business results Sales Cycle Support & Development Develop sales tools and repeatable sales processes across entire Americas Region Assimilate internal and external (e.g. 3PL customers) requirements, and translate them into packaged selling and marketing solutions Assist with identifying second level customers that may have faster sales cycles and less risk Collect and analyze historic bids and continually query for upcoming bids in Region Support the integration of selling tools (prospecting software, CRM, etc.) into Region routines in order to gain pipeline visibility and insight to the types of available opportunities Prepare and launch e-mail communication to potential targets Participate in other strategic and tactical initiatives as assigned Research & Reporting Prepare executive management status reports containing summarized data analysis and trends for upper management Collect primary and secondary research, synthesize and report Conduct market research and recommend various business approach options, counter measures, problem solving initiatives Compensation Range $95,000 - $110,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection) Benefits of working at GLOVIS America Inc.
