This leadership position is focused on ensuring that the organization's commitment to conservation leaders is supported by robust systems, strategic partnerships, and a sustained impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the strategy and delivery of the company's engagement with conservation leaders, designing and refining tools for this engagement, and maintaining systems to track outcomes. Additionally, the role involves managing a network of technical assistance providers, overseeing program strategy and operations, and providing strategic leadership for external communications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nonprofit management, philanthropy, or capacity building, with a deep understanding of the realities facing conservation nonprofits and Tribes. Applicants for the Managing Director role at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' progressive leadership experience in relevant fields. Key qualifications include a proven track record in building and stewarding multi-stakeholder networks, strong operational leadership skills, and the ability to translate sector needs into practical programming.
