Our client is a slow moving consumer goods company with a manufacturing site in Nottinghamshire.The Managing Director / CEO will be accountable for leading a team of Directors within:CommercialDevelop a long term strategy for growth in domestic and international marketsEnsure the company maintains its position as a major brand within the industryMonitor industry trends, consumer behaviour and competitor activity to ensure NPD leadershipExpand retail partnerships including D2CDrive consumer engagement and route to marketManufacturingImplement lean manufacturing and continuous improvementRobust supply chain managementEffective procurement and cost saving exercisesFinanceTake full accountability for P&L, cashflow and financial performanceWork with investors to provide budgets, forecasts and KPI objectivesTransparency and visibility with the board, investors andThe ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a Managing Director or CEO within consumer, manufacturing or lifestyle brands. You must have had experience of managing a large team in an company that has a turnover of over £50m. Private equity experience would be useful but not essential. Excellent remuneration package including an equity/exit position for the right candidate.
