Location: Smithfield, NC 27577
Duration: 4 Months Contract
Shift: Monday thru Friday from 5:00 am until 2:30 pm. Extended overtime during the work week and working weekends may be required to support business needs.
Pay Rate: $21.43/hr. on W2
Job Description
Essentials Functions of the job role as a Roto Molder:
- Maintain the operation of the roto mold machine including start-up, shutdown, fill roto-mold buckets with powder, pull completed parts, scrape clean and cut out parts per work instructions. Ensure quality of all outgoing products
- Carry out detailed written and oral instructions
- Assist with daily tool maintenance and mold prep
- Review product on the machine and take visual inventory
- Review dimensional requirements and insure quality expectations are being met
- Final product assembly after molding including frame and hardware installation, pulling shipping accessories, packaging, labelling
- Meet and maintain daily production rates and goals as established and required by the company.
- Read and follow standard work instructions.
- Keep supervisory staff informed of all cell activity including but not limited to information related to quality, parts supply and safety issues that may occur within the scope of responsibility.
- Complete all required cell activities and documentation for assigned work cell as requested by supervisor.
- Attend all required training and participate in all required continuous improvement activities as required by the business
- Adhere to safety procedures at all times.
- Keep workstation clean, orderly and free of safety hazards at all times.
- Actively participate in all department projects, tasks and objectives but not limited to continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain the highest ethical standards.
- Must be able to use all required tools in an assigned work area.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds of weight on a repetitive basis.
- Must be able to stand, push, pull, bend, twist, kneel, climb and work in weather extremes.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
- Must be able to work with fiberglass composite materials.
Required Experience:
- Must be able to work Monday thru Friday from 5:00 am until 2:30 pm. Extended overtime during the work week and working weekends may be required to support business needs.
- High School Diploma or GED or in lieu of education, must possess 4 years of recent steady manufacturing experience.
- Adhere to all required company policies.
- Must be able to work all scheduled hours and work overtime as mandated by the business.
- Must be willing and able to adhere to plant safety policies.
