Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Application Engineer supports customers and internal teams by providing technical expertise to ensure products are successfully applied, manufactured, and supported. This role bridges engineering, manufacturing, and sales to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate customer application requirements and recommend appropriate manufacturing solutions
• Provide technical support during pre-sales, production, and post-sales phases
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards
• Assist with process improvements, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis
• Support new product introductions and documentation efforts
• Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and technical discussions as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Experience in manufacturing, applications engineering, or a similar technical role
• Understanding of common manufacturing processes, lean six sigma and engineering drawings
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Customer-facing technical experience
• Familiarity with CAD tools, MES or ERP systems, or continuous improvement methods
• Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
