Manufacturing Design Engineer Fabrication operations (Archbald, PA)

We are seeking a Manufacturing Design Engineer for our client, a leading global security and aerospace company. In this role, you will design manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.

This 4-day 10-hour shifts per week) role, this is an on-site role at Archbald, PA.

This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities:

• Design arrangements of machines within plant facilities to ensure the most efficient and productive layout.
• Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
• Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
• Inspection and test requirements may be incorporated into the production plan.
• Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action for problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
• Develops manufacturing processes that apply to statistical process control and may develop those techniques.
• Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
• Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Fabrication operations experience including CNC Machining, Assembly, Painting, Plating, Welding, Production Control and Quality Inspection.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Compensation: $45/hr. - $51.59/hr.
