Position Name: Manufacturing Engineer Location: Milpitas, CA Duration: Contract / Fulltime Rate: On C2C/ W2 Keywords: Manufacturing, Process Development, IQ/OQ/PQ, Design, Fixture, Medical Device ( preferred ) Job Description o Design and build functional test fixtures o Ideate for redesign and implement design changes o Participate in design reviews, design transfer and design/Process FMEA analysis. o Process & Equipment validation – IQ/OQ/PQ o Experience in Cost Reduction implementation activities (Direct Material Costs) o Perform change management using process tools, forms o Design, develop and document custom tools o Expected to write reports, work instructions, test methods and procedures. o Responsible for performing design reviews. o Responsible for the purchase or design of equipment. o Expected to integrate and build engineering subsystems in the lab. o Experience in Cost Reduction implementation activities (Direct Material Costs) o Medical device industry in Manufacturing (Process & Product) o Own up Projects to take it from initiation to finish o Fast learner to grasp the development process at customer location o Coordinate with suppliers and cross functional teams to ensure project execution o Education: BS Mechanical Engineering Qualifications: o Minimum of a B.S and 5 years of electrical engineering experience. o Experience with Solidworks. o Must be able to design parts, integrate them into assemblies, make drawings and work with machine shops to make robust devices rapidly. o Must possess strong communication skills, written and verbal o Must be able to work with people of various education levels and areas of expertise. o Ability to solve complex problems o Ability to be a technical leader on multi-functional teams.
