CNC Manufacturing Engineer – Onsite (Berea, OH)


Arrowhead Talent Solutions is helping an aerospace and aviation manufacturing company find a CNC Manufacturing Engineer in Berea, OH.


**Must be US Citizen**


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes to enhance safety, reduce scrap, increase first-pass yield, improve throughput, and lower costs.
  • Research and implement new cutting technologies, tooling, and process improvements in collaboration with suppliers.
  • Design and specify tooling; troubleshoot CNC programs and processes to resolve quality and production issues.
  • Create and maintain documentation including CNC programs, operational drawings, SOPs, and work instructions.
  • Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues and maintain quality, delivery, and cost targets.
  • Support design for manufacturability initiatives to optimize product cost and efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to reduce lead times and improve quality.
  • Support CNC programmers and operators with technical needs.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and AS9100 standards.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of manufacturing/process engineering experience; aerospace experience preferred.
  • Strong CNC machining knowledge and experience.
  • Experience evaluating equipment and leading capital or process improvement projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills (Lean/Six Sigma preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9000 / AS9100 quality standards preferred.
