PAY RATE: $80-100/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Clearance: Active Secret Clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years or Continuous Evaluation enrollment required.

Summary:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures for assemblies and equipment installations.

  • Drive adoption of new technologies (automation, robotics, CAM software, etc.) to improve efficiency, quality, and cost performance.

  • Utilize 3D model-based design to optimize manufacturing processes and create detailed digital/visual work instructions.

  • Apply knowledge of materials, systems, and automated processes to define build sequences and ensure operational excellence.

  • Evaluate and analyze performance of tools, equipment, and IoT devices; identify and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Leverage factory data to develop Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods and integrate analytics solutions for continuous improvement.

  • Provide design-for-manufacturing input to enhance product manufacturability and alignment with production capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years or Continuous Evaluation enrollment required.

  • Program Special Access required to start.

  • 5+ years of recent CATIA V5 experience

  • 4+ years of recent Teamcenter experience

  • 5+ years of air vehicle systems experience (hydraulics, fuel, electrical, propulsion, or similar)

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex manufacturing data.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering and production disciplines.

  • Demonstrated success in process optimization and adoption of automation or digital manufacturing tools.

  • Strong aviation manufacturing experience working with cross-functional teams (industrial engineering, quality, planning, scheduling, production).

  • Hands-on experience with assembly, machining, and electrical processes (metallics, harness fabrication, systems installation, and final assembly).

  • Proven ability to develop and manage visual work instructions for manufacturing environments.

  • Skilled in Teamcenter and CATIA for manufacturing planning and design integration.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
