Job Description

Will work with production on introducing and maintaining process improvements. Aids in the training and know-how of facilities capital equipment to other employees. Be a key person in helping to develop employees and filling in skill set gaps. Develop, propose, and execute beneficial cost reduction activities. Must have ERP experience. MRP is helpful.

• Research & develop best practice manufacturing processes

• Determine proper tooling and equipment necessary to perform each assembly process with DFM in mind

• Continuously improve manufacturing processes by analyzing and planning workflow

• Work with sales, engineering, and production to identify areas of continuous improvement

• Help oversee the process of updates of documentation and training where needed.

• Complete and or oversee special projects as assigned

• Identify, develop, implement, improve and monitor Manufacturing Engineering initiatives and methods

• Help to establish standardized work

• Propose fixtures to improve production activities

• Help develop training programs for employees

• Ability to read assembly drawings and electrical schematics

• Proficient computer skills.
