Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Greeneville, TN 37743
Duration: 24 Months
Job Type: Contract
Work Type: Onsite
Visa sponsorship is not available, now or in the near future, for this position.
Job Description:
  • This job fully integrates an individual into the engineering culture by performing specific manufacturing engineering assignments that are limited in scope, depth and degree of skill required.
  • Uses problem solving methodology to establish root cause and sustainable corrective action. Work plans and decisions are usually reviewed by others.
Duties:
  • Learns and uses planning tools and analysis to formulate/facilitate project management for new products within the product delivery, order fulfillment or customer support processes.
  • Investigates product and process quality related issues and recommends changes to control plans and continuous improvement projects. Gathers and analyzes data pertinent in the Enterprise Order Fulfillment Process (EOFP), Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP) and/or Customer Support Process (CSP).
  • Inputs and maintains information in factory databases and systems.
  • Monitors quality plan tracking system. Assists in reviews and investigations of warranty claim information.
Top Must Have's:
  • Manufacturing Related Experience (Electrical, Design, Quality, or Industrial Engineering) or BS Engineering
  • Lean Manufacturing, 6-Sigma, Project Management knowledge/skills
  • Computer Skills: Including CAD, Office Suite/Power BI
Requirements/Preferences:
  • Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree in an engineering related field
  • Experience Preferred in following areas: Manufacturing Engineering, Quality
  • Engineering, Industrial Engineering (open to recent graduates)
