job summary:
A Manufacturing Engineer is needed for a world leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives in the Griffin, GA area. This role focuses on optimizing production processes, ensuring quality standards, and utilizing technical skills in blueprint interpretation and quality tool application.

location: Griffin, Georgia
job type: Contract
salary: $30.74 - 43.04 per hour
work hours: 8am to 4pm
education: Bachelors

responsibilities:
  • Provide detailed information to support Operations and Customer quality teams.
  • Assist in reducing in-process defects and updating inspection criteria and control Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Perform and coordinate Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities.
Education & Experience Required:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree.
  • 2-4 years of experience required, preferably in automotive and/or aerospace industries.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in core quality tools such as PPAP, Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), and internal audits.
  • strong attention to detail and ability to work well within a team environment.
Soft Skills:
  • strong teamwork abilities, effective communication skills, and familiarity with 5S principles.
qualifications:
  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Education: Bachelors
