The primary work will be maintaining and improving the performance of the manufacturing process. The person in this role will collaborate with a team of maintenance personnel, Production Engineers, and manufacturing personnel.This position is located at 500 The Lakes Parkway in Griffin, GA.Schedule: Monday - FridayShift: 6:00am - 2:30pm RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for the management of the following pillars of Total Productive Maintenance: Autonomous Maintenance, Focused Improvement, and Planned MaintenanceMaintain improving manufacturing process and work instructionsSupport the new product development stage gate process by providing consultation on development of new products and advising on manufacturing needs during design to ensure ease of manufacturing and quality are maintained.Hands on leading improvements in the maintenance, troubleshooting and improvement of manufacturing equipment and processes.Provide technical leadership for the improvement initiatives for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.Embody the Rinnai Cultural BeliefsEmbrace and support growing business demands in a changing environmentVarious projects as requestedAwareness and compliance of Company Policies and ProceduresOther duties and responsibilities as required. REQUIREMENTS:KNOWLEDGEEngineering degree (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Electrical preferred) or equivalent work experienceMinimum 1-3 years manufacturing engineering/ process engineering experience OR manufacturing maintenance leadership experienceExperience with CAD software. 3D software preferred.Knowledge of OSHA, Lean manufacturing concepts (Six Sigma, 5S, continuous improvement)Familiarity with Quality Systems SKILLSWell-developed analytical and problem-solving skillsA proven ability to effectively lead and manage in a complex, multi-faceted roleAbility to drive results across multi-departmental areasComputer literacy to include but not limited to MS Office productsStrong oral and written communication skillsMechanical aptitude, hydraulics, pneumatics, and controlsSolidWorks or other CADStrong project management skills ABILITIESAbility to participate and motivate others in a collaborative manufacturing environmentHigh level of personal integrity and honesty.Team player able to operate with independence as required.Results / task-oriented work ethic. Physical Requirements:Physical ActivitiesRemaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.Communicating with others to exchange information.Accessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned Physical DemandsSedentary work that primarily involves sitting or standing.
