The Manufacturing Engineer will lead the development and implementation of procedures, tooling, and equipment that will streamline production, with the goal of manufacturing the best products that will meet all specifications and quality standards, while cutting cost and increase efficiencies. ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain work instructions and manufacturing specificationsIdentify and recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilitiesIdentify and implement changes to improve products and reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, product design, materials, and parts.Determine root cause of failures using statistical methods, and recommend changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods.Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate production process and evaluate potential changes QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent experience Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban and 5S preferredManufacturing experience Required Strong organizational and communication skills Salary Range: $80,000-$95,000Benefits:Bonus OfferedHealth, dental, and vision, life, short/long term disability insurance401(k) offeringPaid time off and holidays (80 hours PTO)Paid sick leave where applicable by state law.LHH is a leader in permanent recruitment—and in the placement of top talent.
