Manufacturing Engineer Apply
This position will be responsible for specifying, procuring, designing and commissioning machinery and equipment used by the Evapco manufacturing facility in Lake View, IA. Responsibilities Facilitate formulation of project scope by conducting and documenting design review meetings. Order project materials and components as required Establish project implementation schedules and coordinate the related activities Direct and/or coordinate the activities of employees, vendors, and subcontractors working on their assigned projects with special emphasis on conformance to applicable safety rules and regulations. Work closely with Controls Engineers to ensure correct design of system controls equipment, control logic, and software implementation. Evaluate project issues that may arise and determine the corrective action to be taken Keep accurate records of project progress and report this information to the appropriate individuals on a timely basis Develop and execute equipment inspections prior to shipment Develop and execute commissioning and acceptance test plans to secure final project acceptance from the customer Train and develop less experienced staff on principles of design, engineering and leadership Other duties as assigned Success Criteria Understand budget, schedule, material and quality requirements Willingness to work on multiple projects simultaneously Ability to communicate effectively and foster a team environment Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field with a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in machinery design. Knowledgeable of equipment guarding regulations outlined in 29 CFR 1910. Aptitude with 2D and 3D software, preferably AutoCAD and Solid Edge Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project Strong written, oral, negotiation and presentation skills Ability to influence individuals at all levels.
