Aquinas Consulting is hiring a Manager, Manufacturing Engineer located in Danbury, CT.  Together with your team, you will play a central role to:

  • Optimally integrate new products in the supply chain (product industrialization)
  • Create and optimize the supply chain processes (manufacturing excellence)
  • Create and optimize the manufacturing infrastructures (manufacturing infrastructure)

What You'll Do

  • Take full responsibility for product industrialization
  • Lead with your team the product industrialization and ensure manufacturing capabilities on quality, time and cost to enable successful product launches
  • Coordinate the industrialization of our products within the overall supply chain and in close alignment with Product Engineering
  • Design and implement end-to-end manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Releases manufacturing lines
  • Optimize manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency and quality
  • Develop and improve the physical and technical infrastructure required for the production, logistics, and configuration of products.
  • Build up the team and implement the target picture
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive improvement projects to increase manufacturing quality, capacity, efficiency, and profitability
  • Foster a productive, target-oriented collaboration within the team and its interfaces

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s Degree minimum, Master’s Degree preferred in Operations Management, Manufacturing Management, Industrial Engineering or the like.
  • 15+ years relevant and incremental experience post Bachelors.
  • Depth and breadth of work experience in high volume industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Someone who can mature to possible senior leadership role with much larger teams in 3-5 years.
  • Must be able to strategize with senior leadership as well as execute at tactical levels.
  • Must be an outstanding communicator, adjusting their style of communication to the audience.
  • Must be a decision maker, comfortable in drawing thoughtful conclusions on sometimes non-perfect data sets and evaluating and preparing for risk.
  • Must be a teacher, lead, develop and unite the team
