About the job

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience in the industrial manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for commissioning, supporting, and improving manufacturing equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Standup and commission new energetics processing equipment
  • Author Maintenance and Operational work instructions and other documentation
  • Design, develop, and implement innovative solutions to complex manufacturing challenges.
  • Provide technical leadership in the selection, installation, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment.
  • Develop and maintain detailed process documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production, to ensure seamless integration of new processes and equipment.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other data-driven methodologies.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and develop corrective action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechatronix Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role within an industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technology.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and experience with process simulation tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and implement process improvements.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and industry safety standards.

Preferred:

  • Experience processing energetics, munitions, or other hazardous materials
  • Knowledge of DoD 4145 manual
  • Experience with Fanuc robot programming
