Title Manufacturing Engineer FLSA Exempt Reports To Director of Facilities Purpose Responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and equipment of buildings and facilities. Position will be responsible for assessing facilities resources & developing/managing plan to optimize company resources. Responsibilities / Essential Duties Design and optimize manufacturing processes and workflows Specify and install production equipment and tooling Improve throughput, quality, and cost-efficiency on the line Solve process issues (e.g., bottlenecks, scrap, cycle time) Work closely with production, quality, and design teams Implement OPEX, lean manufacturing, and automation Determining facility and equipment specifications and project timelines Supporting and overseeing the implementation of facility expansion, layout, or equipment Confirm equipment specifications & work closely with maintenance on projects All other duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering At least 3 yrs of experience as manufacturing engineer or in a similar role Experience with Autodesk (Autocad, Inventor, MS Office, Excel) a plus Good verbal and written communication skills between necessary depts Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work in fast paced manufacturing environment Tiffin prefers prior experience.
