This is a highly technical, floor-focused role responsible for taking new parts from programming through full setup and proven production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize synchronization and wait codes to maximize throughput and minimize cycle time
  • Lead full setup and prove-out of new parts, including tooling, guide bushing alignment, and machine setup
  • Ensure process stability, predictable tool life, and optimized cycle times prior to production handoff
  • Select and implement tooling and high-pressure coolant strategies for optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot machining issues including offsets, chatter, and process inconsistencies
  • Support and mentor setup personnel as the on-the-floor technical expert
