Job Description

Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Engineering Technician supports daily production operations while contributing to safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvement initiatives. This role works closely with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure efficient manufacturing processes. The position also offers opportunities to develop technical skills and grow into engineering-level responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:

• Perform equipment setup, assembly, packaging, and preparation activities in accordance with approved procedures

• Execute line clearance and basic equipment maintenance following quality and regulatory requirements

• Assist engineering and maintenance teams with troubleshooting and minor equipment repairs

• Complete accurate production, maintenance, and compliance documentation

• Participate in root cause investigations and support corrective and preventive actions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement improvements

• Support continuous improvement initiatives including workplace organization, process optimization, and efficiency tracking

• Assist in new equipment installation, qualification, and validation activities

• Maintain awareness of quality standards and identify potential manufacturing or design defects

• Demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, and professional conduct


Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment


Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environments

• Knowledge of quality and regulatory standards such as federal regulations, international standards, and workplace safety guidelines

• Familiarity with manufacturing systems including documentation, compliance, inventory control, and scheduling

• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset
