Minimum 6+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrialization, automation, or equipment engineering environments.This position is focused on the development, deployment, and optimization of manufacturing equipment, workstations, and assembly processes supporting high-volume production operations.The role involves leading equipment projects from concept through commissioning, providing Design for Manufacturability (DFM) feedback during product development, and supporting manufacturing scale-up from prototype builds through production launch.The engineer will work closely with design engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, equipment vendors, and system integrators to ensure manufacturing systems achieve safety, quality, throughput, and reliability objectives.This position requires strong technical ownership, hands-on equipment experience, manufacturing process expertise, and the ability to lead complex industrialization initiatives in fast-paced production environments.Key Responsibilities:Manufacturing Equipment Development & DeploymentOwn the development, procurement, build, and deployment of manufacturing equipment and workstationsLead equipment strategy from manual prototype stations through fully automated production systemsDefine equipment requirements, specifications, and performance targetsSupport capital equipment projects from concept through production launchDFM / Product IndustrializationPartner closely with Design Engineering teams to provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) feedbackInfluence product designs to improve manufacturability, scalability, quality, and costSupport early prototype builds to identify manufacturing risks and opportunitiesDrive design decisions required to support high-volume productionSupplier & Integrator ManagementEvaluate, select, and manage equipment vendors and system integratorsOversee equipment development activities, timelines, acceptance criteria, and performance validationAct as technical lead throughout vendor development and equipment handoff phasesEnsure equipment solutions meet production, quality, safety, and reliability requirementsCommissioning & Production ReadinessLead installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation of manufacturing equipmentSupport production launches and manufacturing ramp-up activitiesValidate equipment performance and process capability prior to handoff to operationsEnsure manufacturing systems achieve safety, uptime, and throughput targetsManufacturing Process DevelopmentDesign, document, and optimize manufacturing processesDevelop SOPs, work instructions, process flows, and manufacturing standardsEstablish robust production
