Manufacturing company in Maltby, WA is currently hiring for an HR Coordinator. This company is looking for someone with 2-3 years of HR experience (degree with emphasis on HR would be amazing) and recruiting experience which would be very helpful. This role is requiring proficiency with Excel, data entry, and being okay to make direct conversations and taking feedback.

***Must reside near Maltby / Snohomish, WA as this position is 100% onsite. No relocation offered at this time for out of state candidates***

Pay: $22/hr. - $26k/hr. (Depending on relevant qualifications, job titles, degrees, relevant industry...etc.)

Location: 100% onsite in Maltby, WA

Shift: Standard PST Morning Shift Monday - Friday (flexible start time)

(Key Responsibilities)

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate sr.-level HR staff or management.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Completes HR related special projects as assigned.
  • Provides clerical support to the HR department.
  • May assist with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors, and distributing checks.
  • Compiles, tracks, updates, and reports on employee related data such as timecard corrections and reviews, and other employee related data.
  • Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
  • Conducts or assists with employee benefit enrollment.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
  • Schedules and organizes appointments; takes minutes during departmental meetings.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

(Job Requirements)

  • 2-3 years of relevant HR experience and job title
  • Recruiting experience would be helpful
  • Microsoft Suite and Excel proficiency
  • Data Entry comfortability
  • Manufacturing or similar blue collar industry experience highly valued
  • Needing passion in HR and growth opportunity within HR
  • Able to take tough feedbacks for growth

Compensation is tied to the Colorado and Washington markets for jobs performed in Colorado and Washington. Other locations may be subject to variances based on location-related factors.
