Where you'll work- Location: Export, PA
- Reports to: Production Manager or designee
You’ll balance strategic planning with hands-on problem solving. In the office, you’ll build maintenance schedules, manage budgets, and review reports. On the floor, you’ll lead technicians, troubleshoot equipment, and make real-time decisions to keep operations safe and efficient. This role involves both office work and hands-on maintenance tasks in a manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities- Supervise and develop a team of maintenance professionals, assigning work and upholding safety and quality standards.
- Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for plant facilities and production equipment.
- Provide technical direction on industrial systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and company safety policies.
- Create and manage maintenance budgets; track costs and drive cost-effective decisions.
- Oversee spare parts and tool inventories so technicians have what they need when they need it.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues quickly; coordinate external contractors when required.
- Report on maintenance performance, work orders, ongoing projects, and emerging risks.
- Deep technical knowledge across manufacturing equipment and industrial systems: hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Proven leadership with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable.
- Strong planning and organizational skills to prioritize and schedule work effectively.
- Clear and confident communicator who collaborates across departments and with vendors.
- Sharp troubleshooting instincts and practical, timely decision-making.
- 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance supervisor experience preferred.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment is a plus.
- Familiarity with electronic maintenance programs (e.g., CMMS) is desired.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
