job summary:
Established manufacturer in the upstate is seekig to add to their Maintenance Manufacturing group a Maintenance Technician. Qualified candidates will have have minimum 3 years manufactuirng maintenance experience and trade school training. Must be able to work shift schedule to include weekends. Compensation is based on experience and qualications that you bring. In return you get a competitve wage, benefits, and career growth opportunities.

responsibilities:
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery.
  • Inspect the machine's electrical components and circuit breakers
  • Detect malfunctions
  • Work standard computations relating to electrical load requirements of wiring.
  • Run diagnostic tests to ensure system functionality
  • Repair broken or faulty machine parts
  • Perform emergency repairs
  • Following industry best practices, SOPs, LOTO procedures, and other safety guidelines
  • Logging performed maintenance work
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance as required to support departmental equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and repair of complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Fabrication duties include precision welding, brazing, cutting, and sheet metal work.
  • Machining duties will include lathe, drill, and milling work.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical testing and measuring equipment.
Education and Experience:
  • Two-year vocational-technical school degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous experience as a manufacturing machine mechanic
