THE OPPORTUNITY

We're hiring a Manufacturing Manager to lead all production operations and build a high-performing team. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead Production Operations

• Oversee manual seed packing, automated machine operations, and bulk production
• Delegate daily tasks to Machine Manager, Floor Supervisor, and support staff
• Monitor real-time progress and adjust resources to meet production targets
• Ensure seamless coordination between teams to eliminate bottlenecks

Drive Performance & Quality

• Achieve 90%+ daily project completion rate through effective planning and execution
• Maintain 95%+ quality control standards across all production lines
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement practical solutions
• Ensure all orders ship on time with zero quality compromises

Build & Develop Your Team

• Manage 4 direct reports (Machine Manager, Floor Supervisor, Assistant Manager, Shipping Specialist)
• Coach team members on performance, accountability, and problem-solving
• Handle day-to-day HR functions: coaching, feedback, conflict resolution
• Create a positive, productive work environment where people want to contribute

Communicate & Collaborate

• Provide daily production updates to Operations Director by 5pm
• Lead weekly production planning meetings with your team
• Partner with Inventory and Admin teams to ensure smooth operations
• Respond quickly to urgent issues and keep leadership informed

Requirements

WHAT YOU BRING

Essential

• 2-4 years in production, manufacturing, or operations management
• Proven leadership of teams (10+ employees) in fast-paced environments
• Problem-solving mindset – you see bottlenecks and fix them without being asked
• Strong communication skills – you're comfortable giving feedback and holding people accountable
• Hands-on approach – you lead from the floor, not from an office
• Organizational skills – you can juggle multiple priorities without dropping balls

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience in food, agricultural, or seed production
• Background with both manual and automated manufacturing operations
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, inventory systems, or production tracking tools
• Experience implementing process improvements or lean manufacturing principles
