LOCATION: Kennedy Space Center, FL
PAY RATE: $50.50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Summary:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain:

    • Manufacturing plans

    • Bills of Material (BOM)

    • Work instructions

    • Manufacturing illustrations and documentation

  • Review engineering drawings and requirements to provide:

    • Manufacturability feedback

    • Producibility assessments

    • Installation and process input

  • Develop manufacturing concepts and strategies aligned with business objectives

  • Prepare build analyses and cost estimate reports

  • Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related technical issues

  • Perform producibility assessments for part and product designs

  • Provide input to design, manufacturing processes, and technologies to meet cost and schedule targets

  • Participate in source selection to ensure manufacturing requirements are met

  • Identify tooling requirements and initiate tooling orders based on engineering and manufacturing needs

  • Manage tooling from initial design through end-of-use disposition

  • Develop integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments

  • Draft, update, and review processes and procedures to meet business and regulatory requirements

  • Review and approve supplier data to ensure compliance with manufacturing requirements

Requirements:

  • Education and experience typically acquired through: Associate degree with 3+ years of related work experience, OR Bachelor's degree with 1+ year of related work experience,OR 5+ years of related work experience in lieu of formal education

  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and/or Computer-Aided Process Planning (CAPP)

  • Experience reviewing and planning from engineering drawings

  • Ability to investigate and resolve technical manufacturing issues

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
