Summary:

Develop, implement, and maintain:
-
Manufacturing plans
-
Bills of Material (BOM)
-
Work instructions
-
Manufacturing illustrations and documentation
-

Review engineering drawings and requirements to provide:
-
Manufacturability feedback
-
Producibility assessments
-
Installation and process input
-
-
Develop manufacturing concepts and strategies aligned with business objectives
-
Prepare build analyses and cost estimate reports
-
Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related technical issues
-
Perform producibility assessments for part and product designs
-
Provide input to design, manufacturing processes, and technologies to meet cost and schedule targets
-
Participate in source selection to ensure manufacturing requirements are met
-
Identify tooling requirements and initiate tooling orders based on engineering and manufacturing needs
-
Manage tooling from initial design through end-of-use disposition
-
Develop integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments
-
Draft, update, and review processes and procedures to meet business and regulatory requirements

Review and approve supplier data to ensure compliance with manufacturing requirements
Requirements:
-
Education and experience typically acquired through: Associate degree with 3+ years of related work experience, OR Bachelor's degree with 1+ year of related work experience,OR 5+ years of related work experience in lieu of formal education

Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and/or Computer-Aided Process Planning (CAPP)

Experience reviewing and planning from engineering drawings
-
Ability to investigate and resolve technical manufacturing issues
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
