We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

  • Review engineering requirements and drawings to provide manufacturability, producibility, and installation feedback

  • Investigate and resolve technical problems in manufacturing processes

  • Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing plans, BOMs, work instructions, and illustrations

  • Plan manufacturing concepts and strategies aligned with business objectives

  • Prepare build analyses and cost estimate reports

  • Participate in source selection to ensure manufacturing requirements are met

  • Identify tooling requirements and manage tooling from initial design through end-of-use disposition

  • Develop work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery schedules

  • Provide input to design, manufacturing processes, and manufacturing technologies to meet cost, schedule, and quality objectives

  • Draft, update, and review processes and procedures to support business and regulatory requirements

  • Document new job practices, techniques, and standards for enterprise use

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree (AA) in a related discipline

  • Typically 6+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Computer-Aided Process Planning (CAPP)

  • Experience reviewing and planning manufacturing from engineering drawings

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading cross-functional manufacturing teams

  • Experience with cost modeling and build analysis for complex assemblies

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices for manufacturing

  • Experience integrating supplier and production processes into manufacturing plans
