Summary:
-
Review engineering requirements and drawings to provide manufacturability, producibility, and installation feedback
-
Investigate and resolve technical problems in manufacturing processes
-
Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing plans, BOMs, work instructions, and illustrations
-
Plan manufacturing concepts and strategies aligned with business objectives
-
Prepare build analyses and cost estimate reports
-
Participate in source selection to ensure manufacturing requirements are met
-
Identify tooling requirements and manage tooling from initial design through end-of-use disposition
-
Develop work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery schedules
-
Provide input to design, manufacturing processes, and manufacturing technologies to meet cost, schedule, and quality objectives

Draft, update, and review processes and procedures to support business and regulatory requirements
-
Document new job practices, techniques, and standards for enterprise use
Requirements:
-
Associate's degree (AA) in a related discipline
-
Typically 6+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
-
Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Computer-Aided Process Planning (CAPP)
-
Experience reviewing and planning manufacturing from engineering drawings
-
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience leading cross-functional manufacturing teams

Experience with cost modeling and build analysis for complex assemblies

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices for manufacturing
-
Experience integrating supplier and production processes into manufacturing plans
