Manufacturing Process Engineer $5,000 Sign-On Bonus AvailableSumter County, South CarolinaI'm partnering with a leading manufacturer to identify a hands-on Manufacturing Process Engineer who enjoys solving problems on the production floor, improving equipment, and driving continuous improvement.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who prefers being where the action is. You'll spend the majority of your time supporting production, troubleshooting equipment, implementing process improvements, and leading projects that improve safety, quality, capacity, and cost.What You'll Be DoingLead manufacturing process and equipment improvement projects from concept through implementation.Troubleshoot and optimize high-speed automated manufacturing equipment.Design and modify tooling, fixtures, and mechanical components.Support capital equipment installations and process improvements.Partner with Maintenance, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.Develop technical drawings using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.Spend 70%+ of your time on the manufacturing floor supporting production.You'll Be Successful If You HaveBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.Experience supporting manufacturing equipment in a production environment.Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for making processes safer, more reliable, and more efficient.Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.Also offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus, with an additional $5,000 paid after six months.If you're looking for an opportunity to make a visible impact while working with advanced manufacturing equipment and a highly collaborative engineering team, I'd love to tell you more.Visa candidates are not being considered for this role.#manufacturing, #process engineering, #southcarolinajobs
