The Manufacturing Process Technician is responsible for streamlining and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance production efficiency, minimize waste, and ensure product compliance with quality and safety standards.


Qualifications:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles, methods, various processes, tools, and related manufacturing equipment.
  • Proficiency in personal computer usage, with a focus on Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Preferred experience with ERP/MRP applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.

Essential Duties:
  • Develop and revise standard operational and working practices.
  • Review production and operating reports, resolving operational and manufacturing issues to minimize costs and prevent delays.
  • Verify completeness and accuracy of data in documents such as blueprints, drawings, change orders, and specifications.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness in assigned manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with planning and design staff to optimize production methods concerning product design and tooling.
  • Consult with management, engineering, and other teams to facilitate production processes, considering manufacturing capabilities and production schedules.
  • Utilize data analysis tools to assess current manufacturing processes, identifying areas for enhancement, including inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and potential safety risks.
  • Create and refine optimized manufacturing processes to improve production efficiency, reduce expenses, and ensure product quality.
  • Execute strategies for continuous process improvement, integrating new technologies and methodologies as needed.
  • Provide training to manufacturing personnel on new processes and procedures, ensuring their understanding and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of manufacturing processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process manuals.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
