Customer Operations | Onsite Role at a Major Glass Manufacturing Facility

Tiama (a Kestrel Vision company) is hiring a Manufacturing Project Manager to serve as our onsite representative at a major glass manufacturing facility in Valdosta, GA. This is a hands-on, operations-focused role — not a remote or internal project management position. You will be dedicated full-time to this location, owning day-to-day execution, performance, and customer accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Act as our primary on-site representative within the customer’s manufacturing operation
  • Maintain strong customer relationships while confidently addressing decisions that impact performance or contractual commitments
  • Own daily execution and performance of installed capital equipment and related services
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational and quality issues in real time
  • Communicate risks, progress, and results to internal and customer stakeholders
  • Coordinate and direct technicians to meet safety, quality, and performance expectations
  • Monitor and improve manufacturing KPIs (e.g., pack-to-melt, held ware, performance stability)
  • Ensure production readiness: tooling, setups, system configuration, and documentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or equivalent experience
  • 3–5+ years of relevant manufacturing or capital equipment experience
  • PMP a plus
  • Spanish a plus

Required Skills

  • Experience in manufacturing operations, capital equipment, industrial automation, or customer-site technical roles; glass industry experience highly valued
  • Background in project execution or operational leadership in production environments
  • Strong working knowledge of manufacturing KPIs and continuous improvement
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing settings
  • Clear, confident communicator with strong problem-solving skills

We offer a comprehensive benefits package including:
